To continue to provide advanced seat capacity and to accommodate an increased demand for its domestic call center services, Contract Callers, Inc. (CCI) announced today that it has opened a new, state-of-the-art call center in Augusta, Georgia.

The new facility represents Contract Callers’ commitment to improving it’s already nationally recognized service through investments in tools, technologies, and people in order to help expand its growing markets. Employees working at this new Augusta facility will specialize in providing first and third party collections along with customer service to a variety of customers nationwide.

Located in the MAU building in Augusta, the completely renovated 16,000-plus square foot space is centrally located in the rejuvenated downtown core of Augusta, on 501 Greene Street. This marks the second call center site in Augusta for Contract Callers, along with its already long established site on Claussen Road.

“Our new Augusta facility is a showcase location for Contract Callers nationally. It is a beautiful facility in an amazing location with advanced technology behind the scenes to help provide the stability, security, and reliability that our clients expect,” said President Tim Wertz. “Most importantly, we see this as a place that will attract exceptional people – individuals who want to build careers with a great enterprise while representing great companies. We are committed to providing a caring environment where people get the support, training, and development opportunities that they need to discover and reach their potential.”

“This year alone, CCI has on boarded nearly 8 million new accounts directly from national creditors of defaulted debt,” said Andrew Cope, Vice President of Sales for CCI. The company now manages more than 12 million accounts, largely defaulted credit card debt, utilities, and telecommunications.

According to Cope, most American creditors are moving toward prohibiting “offshore collections” as a condition of collecting their accounts due to significant new federal compliance concerns. “Leading national companies are seeing absolute value in companies that will manage their accounts with U.S.-based talent,” Cope said.

Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver credits Contract Callers for its decision to further invest in the City’s economy. “Contract Callers’ decision to locate its newest call center, yet again in Augusta, means the creation of more local jobs and a significant capital investment that benefits both our City and our region,” said Copenhaver.

Contract Callers, Inc. (CCI) was originally established in 1926 as a collection agency. This makes CCI one of the oldest Accounts Receivable Management operations in the world. As the market changed and developed, so did CCI. We have expanded our expertise to include Collections, Field Service Projects, and Call Center programs.
