Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd. will conduct as many as four more creditor industry roundtables in America and Canada, and possibly Australia and the UK, following the success of the company’s inaugural event in the United Kingdom. The next two invitation-only roundtables will be held on the evenings preceding major industry conferences – September 12th preceding the Debt Connection Symposium and Expo™ 2011 in Las Vegas and November 14th prior to the opening of the SCORE Statistical Consulting Inc. annual Dormant Debt Conference in Toronto.

“Bringing creditor leaders together and sponsoring the exchange of best practices, new strategies, technology innovations and case studies proved to be extremely popular with the attendees so as industry leaders we have committed to expanding the effort,” said Adam S. Cohen, Esq., Co-Chairman and CEO of Phillips & Cohen Associates.

Phillips & Cohen Associates held the first roundtable in conjunction with Credit Collection and Risk Magazine, whose editor, Stephen Kiely, chaired the event. “I am delighted with how our first ever roundtable came together – debt sale and deceased care in particular are such important sectors of the industry,” he explained. “The feedback from participants has been completely positive as there is a real desire in the industry to discuss these issues.”

The first UK roundtable devoted considerable focus to issues specific to deceased care processes and the estate servicing arena (like the use of Interactive Voice Response to drive individuals to convenient web-based systems.). In addition to these topics, the upcoming roundtables will include topics such as the role of segmentation, pricing trends, and compliance issues. With presentations from industry leading suppliers such as BillingTree, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors; technological and service innovations serve as key topics as well.

“Providing quality educational opportunities has always been our goal.  We’re pleased Phillips & Cohen Associates chose to add this probate-focused learning experience prior to our Debt Connection Symposium & Expo,” commented Judy Hammond, President, Resource Management Services, Inc. “Providing informative sessions such as this makes keeping up-to-date in this important area much easier for our industry partners.”  Adds Stephen Sheather, Principal, SCORE Statistical Consulting Inc., “SCORE are pleased to add the Phillips & Cohen Associates probate creditor roundtable series to our conference schedule. We fully support this information exchange opportunity to both learn and leverage best practices in the credit and collections space.  This event is both timely and needed in the Canadian recovery marketplace.”

Beginning in May, Phillips & Cohen Associates will be sending invitations to creditors for the upcoming roundtables and finalizing the list of co-sponsors over the next month.
