Credit Consulting Services, Inc. a collection agency based in Salinas, California, was awarded “Large Business of the Year” by the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber’s 94th Annual Award Luncheon. The event was held in front of 500 people at the Salinas Community Center on February 26th.

The award is presented to businesses with more than 25 employees who have shown longstanding business success and involvement in their community. CCS has continued to succeed by investing in its people and technology. Senator Jeff Denham named CCS as “Small Business of the Year” in 2006, and the Monterey County Business Council named CCS as one of the “Best Places to Work” in 2008 and 2012.

CCS is the largest and oldest collection agency in the Tri-County Area.

CEO, Rodney Meeks accepted the award on behalf of CCS and thanked the Chamber for the positive public relations.

“It’s not easy for a collection agency to get positive PR,” joked Meeks. He acknowledged the audience and their involvement in the community. He also recognized his employees for their long term commitment to the company and his clients for making their pay checks possible.
