WEST MONROE, La. – On Dec. 3, 2019, the West Monroe – West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce presented Everett Stagg, Coast Professional, Inc. President and Co-Chairman of the Board, with the Johnny E. Huntsman Entrepreneurial Success Award. The award honors an individual who exemplifies true entrepreneurial spirit through their management style, excellence in business, and company growth.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized by the Chamber of Commerce, especially for an award that holds the name recognition and respect that this one does,” said Everett. “I’ve always felt giving back to the community and building an amazing team is the foundation for success, and this award helps validate that belief. I want to thank every single one of our staff members, as well as the Chamber of Commerce for bestowing me with the honor of the Johnny E. Huntsman award.”

Everett oversees nearly 900 employees that service five locations nationwide at Coast. In the last year, Coast has opened two new locations, including one in West Monroe, and is set to open another at the start of 2020. Under the guidance of Everett and the executive team, Coast is a six-time honoree on the Inc. 5000 list for American’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies provided by Inc. Magazine. He has also established charitable initiatives, such as the company’s dress down for charity program, which reflects Coast’s core values. The program allows employees to donate $20 for the option to wear business casual attire for the entire month. In the last 12 months, Coast employees across all locations have donated over $200,000 to various charities. Everett believes the success of a company is built on employee engagement and community outreach.

“Everett is a genuine leader. He is a tireless advocate for the community and his success is a true reflection of his drive and character,” said Brian Davis, Coast CEO and Co-Chairman of the Board. “His broad enthusiasm is fundamental to our company’s culture of success. It has been one of the greatest highlights of my career to work alongside Everett and to build this extraordinary company together. Congratulations Everett on this great achievement and well-deserved honor.”

Everett’s charitable efforts extend far beyond his role as Coast’s President; they are a cornerstone in his personal life. He serves as a member of the West Ouachita High School Booster Club and helped to secure the digital HD television scoreboard that was installed in 2018. Everett’s passion for providing positive experiences and opportunities for the youth in his community is evident as the owner of Spartan Adventure Park. The park, which includes a trampoline park and virtual reality golf, is a space where children and adults can be active in a safe environment.

Along with his philanthropic initiatives and support for youth activities, Everett is a pillar in the local business community. He owns many commercial real-estate properties, such as the Twin City Shopping Center in Monroe, LA. Courtesy of Everett, the shopping center recently underwent a nearly two-year renovation, which included a modernized exterior. Twin City is now home to small businesses that provide careers for the local economy. As a residential real-estate developer, Everett owns townhomes and apartments in West Monroe, adding significant value and housing options to the area.
