Genpact (NYSE: G), which manages business processes for companies around the world, announced that it has been ranked as the leader in the Best-Performing BPO Provider category in the 2008 Global Services 100 listing. The reasons cited included Genpact’s “growing employee strength, many new delivery centers and substantially low attrition rates.”

Now in its fourth year, the Global Services 100 is a compilation of the world’s most innovative service providers selected on the basis of a research study conducted by Global Services magazine and neoIT, an outsourcing advisory firm. The evaluation is based upon data provided by the service providers and third parties regarding effective operations, service offerings, client relationships and human capital. Winners are selected in each of 10 categories including service-delivery areas such as IT services, customer care and business process outsourcing. Winners are also selected in regions such as Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

“It is an honor for us to be acknowledged as the leader among the best performing BPOs for the second year in a row. We believe our strong focus on client needs and process excellence, along with our re-engineering services and global footprint, have allowed us to retain this important award of distinction,” said Pramod Bhasin, President & CEO of Genpact. “We truly thank Global Services, neoIT, our employees and customers for this important recognition.”

The Global Services 100 list has grown to be a highly credible listing of global IT services and BPO companies, according to Ed Nair, editor, Global Services. He said the magazine and neoIT will present the awards to category winners at the 2008 Global Services Conference on March 12, 2008, at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square, in New York City.
