CLEVELAND, OH ? The creditor?s law firm of Javitch, Block & Rathbone (JB&R) has been named to the prestigious 2003 Weatherhead 100 list of the fastest growing companies in northeastern Ohio. The list is a compilation by the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio. Criteria for inclusion in the list are: highest percentage growth in net sales over the past five years, with at least $100,000 in sales in 1998 and at least $1 million in sales in 2002, and a minimum of 16 full time employees in 2002. The five-year time frame is designed to recognize companies with sustained growth instead of on and off growth over a short time period. Winners also had to show a net increase between 2001 and 2002.


Established in 1991, JB&R had an increase in sales of 118 percent since 1998 and employee growth of 100 percent. The firm is headquartered in downtown Cleveland, Ohio and has offices in Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and satellite offices in Gahana and Independence, Ohio. JB&R is co-managed by partners Bruce A Block, and Joel H. Rathbone.
