U.S. wholesale prices, a key economic indicator of inflation in the U.S., fell 1.4% in February on lower energy costs, according to a report by MarketWatch.


The core Producer Price Index (PPI), which excludes food and energy prices, rose 0.3%. This is the second straight month of a larger-than-expected increase in the core PPI, causing worry among some economists.
