DataRose, LLC announced that George A. Shand joined DataRose as Partner and Vice President, Sales and Business Development. George brings nearly 25 years of financial services, business development, and software product management experience to DataRose.

Before joining DataRose, George held the positions of Director of Business Development, VP of Sales, and General Manager at Intelligent Results, a pioneer in predictive analytics and decision management software. While at Intelligent Results, George served as member of the Executive Management Team, created key strategic partnerships, revamped the sales team, and doubled revenue.

Prior to his years at Intelligent Results, George was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Zevez Corporation, a card payment software technology provider. In this role, he was responsible for company performance and management of the company’s delivery of technology and services. George’s early technology work for Zevez Corporation resulted in his becoming the holder of a pending patent for card payment technology.

George also brings extensive credit card portfolio management experience to DataRose from executive level positions with First Consumers National Bank where he was responsible for turning around the company’s credit card portfolios, addressing regulatory compliance issues, and executing integrated cross-company marketing and credit risk strategies.

George’s strong predictive analytics background was developed at GeoTrust Corporation and at Fair Isaac Corporation where he managed the company’s TRIAD product line. George also worked as Chief Credit Officer at Merrick Bank Corporation where he managed their lending, operations, analytics, marketing, and information technology functions.

George holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance and economics from Lake Forest College. While attending Lake Forest College, he began his 13 year career with Discover Card Services, where he held key roles in Systems, Credit Risk and Operations management. While at Discover Card, George was responsible for building and leading the teams that developed new classes of customer service, credit risk management, and operation technologies.
