AllianceOne announces the acquisition of Nova Collection Services Ltd. (Nova), headquartered in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.


Nova, a leading Canadian provider of accounts receivable services, has seven call centers across Canada. The company began in 1968 as an offshoot of an existing Canadian credit reporting company. Mr. Ted Bos, Nova?s founder, purchased the collections segment of the company in 1972, forming Nova Collections Services. Since that time the company has gone through a period of aggressive growth and currently services a broad based clientele in several key market segments throughout Canada.
