Van Ru Credit Corporation recently contributed 30 computers to The Jim Mullen Foundation?s Gateway Computer Drive. As a part of this event, over 100 used computers were received at Gateway Country Stores throughout Illinois to be donated to the Foundation, which was established in the name of the former Chicago Police Officer who was shot while on duty and is now paralyzed from the neck down. Van Ru?s donation assisted the Foundation?s efforts to provide computers to disabled and disadvantaged individuals to enhance their lives.

“Our offices recently experienced a computer conversion and had a lot of equipment available. When we heard about The Jim Mullen Foundation?s computer give-away program, we knew that this was an excellent opportunity to share this equipment to benefit the people in our community,? said Joseph Fazzini, Van Ru?s executive vice president.
