HomeChoice, the largest home shopping group in Africa has selected TRIAD™ adaptive control system to optimise decision policies in the credit life-cycle for its private label accounts.

TRIAD, from Fair Isaac Corporation, is the world’s leading adaptive control system and is used by more than 280 portfolios worldwide, making more than 44 billion account and customer decisions annually.

TRIAD combines predictive analytics, decision-making software and expert strategy consulting to automate and improve credit and customer management decisions for lenders. By making the right decisions for their portfolios, credit grantors are able to increase revenue, reduce losses, improve customer service and ultimately, increase portfolio profitability and drive competitive advantage.

TRIAD adaptive control system is now being offered to clients on an application service basis (ASP), which means that smaller organisations can now conveniently and economically access this risk management technology via a managed solution from PIC Solutions. For the first time in Africa, credit grantors of all sizes and expertise now have access to TRIAD, on a usage basis, to build customer life time value and maximise portfolio profitability.

HomeChoice will be the first organisation to take advantage of the TRIAD ASP solution and will be able to apply sophisticated risk management strategies to optimise their credit, risk, marketing and collections decisions processes. HomeChoice will join the other eleven TRIAD African clients using this world class software and will realise similar benefits.

Andrew Goodrich, Credit Risk Director at HomeChoice, comments, “TRIAD will provide us with the flexibility and improved decision processing to implement automated, customer-specific strategies across all of our decision policies. By combining this leading software, the expertise of the PIC Solution’s strategy consultants and our detailed understanding of our market and customer profile, we will ensure that we improve the profitability of our credit portfolio. With the implementation of new application scorecards and the TRIAD account management solution, we believe that we are well placed to address the changes that the new National Credit Act will necessitate.”

Stephen Leonard, Managing Director of PIC Solutions, adds, “The accessibility and convenience of using TRIAD on a service basis has opened the door for many smaller organisations that could not previously cost-justify the world?s leading adaptive control system. TRIAD will ensure that HomeChoice will now be able to implement best practice credit risk management strategies across all of their customer decision areas. Our strategy consultants will work closely with HomeChoice to develop strategies that will provide them with a true competitive advantage.”
