Sherman began his career at VWA nearly 14 years ago as a collector in the company’s New York office, quickly mastering the art of 3rd party collections. Within a year, he moved into a sales executive role, later becoming one of VWA’s first sales professionals in the California Division. Sherman has consistently achieved and exceeded sales goals and has managed various sales teams for VWA as vice president of sales and marketing. In the past few years he has been heavily involved in developing VWA’s branding and marketing strategies as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Sherman is  responsible for creating and building relationships with some of VWA’s key clients, including Yamaha, U-Haul International, Mattel , Amp’d Mobile, and AmeriCredit to name only a few. He has helped clients meet both the strategic and tactical elements critical to the success of their F&A outsourcing initiatives.
