Zotec Solutions Inc. and Healthcare Management Partners (HMP) today announced the merger of the two companies to create Zotec Partners, a solutions firm providing state-of-the art proprietary medical billing services and licensed software to hospital-based physician specialty practices across the U.S. The merger combines HMP’s years of experience in revenue cycle management on behalf of its physician clients with Zotec’s superior technology, creating the ultimate partnership.

“Together both companies will benefit from combined strengths in the areas of service, knowledge and technology. The combination of service and technology positions Zotec and HMP’s respective clients to better combat industry trends,” says T. Scott Law, chief executive officer of Zotec Solutions, Inc. “The merger creates an enormous opportunity for both companies to expand and improve their service offerings and will make Zotec Partners a major player in the hospital-based physician billing market in the United States."

HMP contributes an experienced management team and board level members, as well as existing operations in the same physician specialty markets as Zotec. The merger provides the opportunity to leverage combined volumes and gain efficiencies in all aspects of the revenue cycle management process. Zotec Partners will utilize the state of the art technology to continue to produce a cost effective billing solution for their clients.

“We are excited about the merger with Zotec. Gaining access to this technology will ensure that we continue to improve upon the excellent service level our existing clients have grown to expect,” says Claudia Dwyer, chief executive officer of HMP. “This partnership allows us to have significant input into the technology, which is a tremendous advantage to our current and future clients.”

Current Zotec software and billing clients will benefit from the merger in a number of ways. Zotec’s billing clients will gain increased professional management resources and expertise, while clients licensing the Zotec software will benefit from continued enhancement and focus on eliminating inefficiencies inherent in the ever-changing healthcare environment. Zotec Partners will continue to invest and develop in its industry leading suite of products.

Zotec Partners will service over 5,500 physicians across more than 40 states this year and is the exclusive Platinum Sponsor of the Radiology Business Management Association. This merger will come without interruption to clients.

Scott Law will serve as the CEO of Zotec Partners. The new company is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Zotec Solutions has been based for 9 years. Zotec Partners will continue business operations in California overseen by Claudia Dwyer.
