'True Gentleman' in Collection Industry Passes Away

Raymond J. Valega, client relations representative at Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. (WWR) and loving friend of WWR, passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, September 14, 2003. Ray worked at WWR up until a few days prior to his death when he was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas. His death was unexpected and his absence leaves us deeply moved.

Ray had been an important part of WWR for 15 years. Through his experience in the collections business and keen insight into industry trends, WWR experienced exponential growth. Ray was liked by everyone and had the unique ability to connect with many different types of people at all levels. Ray embodied the definition of a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by WWR, its clients and the industry. Here are the details for the funeral arrangements for Ray Valega:

Friends may call on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10 a.m. at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039. His entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Avon, Ohio.
