Columbus, OH ? Marwan Kashou, president of National Commercial Recovery, Inc. (NCRISolutions) has been named the president of Allied Interstate, Inc.’s Commercial Services Division.

Allied Interstate’s Commercial Services Division is part of the IntelliRisk Management Corporation (IRMC) Accounts Receivable Management Division. Under the Allied Interstate brand, IRMC provides strategically focused ARO solutions for its primary markets – commercial, health care, telecom/utilities/communications, financial services, government and student loan.

Kashou was selected as president of Allied’s Commercial Services Division as a result of his performance at NRCISolutions. NCRISolutions, a leader in commercial collections, became part of the IRMC family in 1999 and took on the Allied Interstate name in early 2001 when the new commercial division was created.

The Commercial Services Division of Allied Interstate, headed by Kashou, ranks in size, among the top five commercial agencies nationally. Expanded services include traditional third-party accounts receivable management, on-site collection support and consulting, strategic outsourcing and first-party modular outsourcing services.

The Commercial Services Division provides Fortune 2000 clients, as well as merging, integrating and high growth companies, with customized solutions designed to reduce costs by helping to increase cash flow and minimize bad debt expense.

“Unlike other firms, we don’t utilize a cookie-cutter approach. We recognize the additional complexity associated with commercial receivables transactions,” Kashou said.

Operating from strategically located contact centers in Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; and Calabasas, California, Allied Interstate’s Commercial Services Division has the ability to reach all of the major U.S. time zones during critical business hours as well as having capacity for future growth. The Commercial Services Division also has the additional resources of IRMC’s other 38 contact centers, state-of-the-art technology and enterprise technical and administrative support to ensure its success.

Kashou is a strong supporter of the changes made.

“The integrated strategy allows us to combine the 20-year track record of NCRISolutions with additional branch locations and added expertise from our sister commercial companies,” he said. “This, coupled with the added infrastructure, sets us apart from our competitors. While we have been a leading player in the past, we can now continue to provide ‘Best-in-Class’ services to any size receivables portfolio. Being part of IntelliRisk Management Corporation has allowed us to expand our services and our scope of capabilities due to the extensive resources of IRMC.”

Kashou is supported by one of the industry’s most experienced management teams. The operations department is lead by industry veteran, Jim Pond, who has over 30 years experience in the commercial collection industry. The other members of Allied Interstate’s Commercial Services Division’s management team average over 10 years in the commercial sector.

Prior to joining NCRISolutions, Kashou founded Collectech Systems, Inc., another IRMC company. Inc. Magazine twice listed Collectech Systems, Inc. as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.

Founded by Richard D. Schultz in 1998, IRMC has more than 6,500 associates staffing 40 regional operations centers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Through strategic acquisitions and internal growth, IRMC has climbed to the No. 3 position in the accounts receivable collections, teleservices and outsourcing industry in the United States. IRMC companies are the largest in both the Canadian and U.K. markets.
