Citibank Singapore Wednesday said customers can apply for a credit card and, if they meet the income requirements, have the card issued within an hour, upping the ante in the city-state’s lucrative card market.
The service – which Citigroup Inc.’s Singapore unit said is the first of its kind in Asia and probably the world – will start with a single card, the “Citibank Paragon Platinum Card,” and will be available at its branch at Paragon shopping mall from Thursday.
