Mr. Peter Sjunnesson has resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Intrum Justitia AB. He leaves the company for personal reasons. The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Bertil Persson, Chief Financial Officer of Intrum Justitia, as Deputy CEO and acting CEO of the company. Bertil Persson has been Chief Financial Officer of the company since December 2000 and is a member of the Management Council.


In order to support the group management during an interim period, Mr. Bo Ingemarson, Chairman of the Board, will assume the role of working Chairman. The process of recruiting a new CEO will be initiated immediately.

Peter has made a great contribution to Intrum Justitia during his time as CEO?, says Bo Ingemarson. ?The company will continue to implement its growth strategy to further strengthen its position as Europe?s leading Receivables Management Services company.?


?As a listed company, Intrum Justitia is well equipped to take advantage of future strategic opportunities. I regret that due to personal reasons I will not be able to continue to contribute to the company?s development,? says Peter Sjunnesson.


Peter Sjunnesson assumed his position in November 1999 and has led Intrum Justitia through the merger with Dun & Bradstreet?s European operations in RMS and through the IPO on the Stockholm Exchange.
