LOS ANGELES and MANILA, Philippines – PeopleSupport, Inc., an offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider that offers customer management and accounts receivable management services for U.S.-based clients from its facilities in the Philippines, today announced that the company has completed the operational migration to its newly constructed Philippine regional headquarters, the PeopleSupport Center. As one of the first facilities in the Philippines built specifically for BPO services, the PeopleSupport Center sets a benchmark for the industry.

“We are very proud of reaching this major milestone,” said Lance Rosenzweig, PeopleSupport’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “The PeopleSupport Center is a testament to the success of PeopleSupport in the Philippines. The PeopleSupport Center was completed ahead of schedule and the transition was seamless to our clients. We expect our new facility, with the most advanced technology and design, to further improve the quality and reliability of our services to clients worldwide.”

The PeopleSupport Center is located in the prestigious area of Makati, the financial district of Manila. To date, more than 1,700 employees have moved into the new center while continuing to service clients without interruption. As a result of commencing this migration ahead of schedule, the company expects to record an unprojected $0.3 million in cost of sales expense in the second quarter 2005. This built-to-suit center, which is on a long-term lease, will eventually increase PeopleSupport’s total seat capacity in all current centers to over 5,000 workstations for operations, management, and support staff once the new center is fully built out, which has capacity for approximately 3,400 total production and non-production seats.

Equipped with new, top-of-the-line telephony and data infrastructure, the PeopleSupport Center offers world-class services to clients. The center offers a 24×7 network operations center, IT helpdesk and workforce management. The center also has a highly secure and robust on-site data center with complete power back-up and high capacity diesel generators. The final IT applications will be migrated to the new data center later this month.

With five levels, the PeopleSupport Center provides many employee benefits, including stylish modern break rooms on each floor, ergonomic workstations, a 24×7 medical clinic, free gym, shower rooms and an employee lounge. The center is also home to PeopleSupport University, with numerous advanced training rooms. Employees can also access several well known international restaurants and retail establishments on the first level of the PeopleSupport Center, some of which will offer round-the-clock services to support the center’s 24×7 operations.
