Credit card issuers are stepping up efforts to encourage you to pay your taxes with plastic. This tax season, Chase and United Airlines have begun awarding double miles for each dollar of taxes paid on their United Mileage Plus SignatureVisa card. American Express has similar deals on its Delta and Starwood credit cards.
