Sentinel Development Solutions and DataRose today announced a new technology partnership that raises the performance standard for software solutions throughout the credit and collections industry.

Through this new partnership, DataRose’s award winning Electronic Data Interchange software, called EqX™ or EqualXchange™ is now integrated within Sentinel’s eCollections software. This integration makes it possible for eCollections users to seamlessly exchange data with any credit grantor, buyer, collections agency, or attorney — even though they use different software.

"The credit and collections industry relies on collaboration between debt owners and their independent collectors. But this collaboration has always been thwarted by a lack of interoperability – different software systems don’t talk to each other," said Jonathan Cleary, DataRose CEO.

"Eliminating the software incompatibility problem is the final step in fully automating this essential collaboration and finally unleashing the full potential of collections outsourcing. That’s what EqX does. Now, it no longer matters that people use different software," Cleary said.

"The integration of EqX into eCollections gives our users greater efficiencies and a distinct competitive advantage," remarked Sentinel CEO, Jeff Mains. "This enhancement strips huge costs and delays from the collections process. Solving this long-standing data exchange problem for collections partners allows them to work with anyone they want to, with full visibility, and no up-front capital cost or delay."

EqX utilizes a proprietary artificial intelligence engine known as 80R™ to translates the sender’s data into the receiver’s data formats, and then validate and normalize the exchanged data.

"The marriage of our technologies establishes a new standard for collections software. The partnership makes eCollections the only commercially available collections solution with embedded data exchange technology that is entirely platform and data standard agnostic," concluded Mains.
