STA International announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to be included on Federal schedule 520-4, Debt Collection (520-4). GSA awarded a contract to STA based on the firm?s qualifications including past performance, references, nationwide capabilities, and financial strength.

STA was founded in 1955 and operates worldwide, with locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles and New York, as well as London, Mexico City, and Singapore. The firm provides a variety of outsourcing services to commercial and consumer creditors.

?This is a positive step in our business development efforts within the public sector,? commented Kevin Terrell, president and CEO of STA. ?With the award of this contract to STA, GSA has acknowledged that we are qualified to provide high quality services to Federal bodies that require debt collection services from the private sector,? he added.

Working in conjunction with Net Gain Marketing to complete the proposal development and follow up process, STA is now able to compete for any Federal debt collection contract awarded to vendors listed among those pre-qualified by the GSA. This includes any contracts issued by the Internal Revenue Service and Financial Management Service under the Department of Treasury and the Department of Education.
