Ripley, TN resident Charles King’s motto is, “you can’t get anything done sitting at home,” now he’s on a mission to keep from sitting at home.

King, 41, is currently in the job market for a position to exercise the information he learned in the receivable management training course that he took – and he’s blind.

“Nowadays there are all these opportunities for people with disabilities,” King said.

The course, taught at the STAR Center, has been made possible through the partnership of the state department of Rehabilitation Services, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA) International and the Tennessee Collectors Association.
