Zenta, a knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) and business process outsourcing (BPO) company, and Ellie Mae, a provider of innovative software and services for the mortgage industry, have entered into an affiliated partner agreement to offer Zenta’s Broker Services through Ellie Mae’s award-winning ePASS(R) Network web portal.

"Zenta Broker Services provides high quality, cost effective loan processing services to residential mortgage brokers and loan originators regardless of the size of the operation or production volume," said Nick Woodcock, senior vice president of Zenta’s residential mortgage services division. "We are delighted to partner with Ellie Mae to offer users of Ellie Mae’s software such a straightforward and efficient method to access these services from their desktop."

Zenta Broker Services is a hybrid onshore / offshore service delivery platform that provides a low cost alternative to in house loan processing. The platform has been designed from the outset to provide rapid turn times on loan processes and to comply with strict quality guidelines, modeled from six sigma practices, to improve processes by eliminating defects in the loan processing service.

By combining Zenta’s unique approach to loan processing with Ellie Mae’s award winning Encompass(R) Mortgage Management software, users will get faster, higher quality and more secure transfer of data and documents. Users simply submit a completed loan application, disclosures and borrow authorizations and Zenta Broker Services does the rest. The broker maintains all communication with the borrower and Zenta Broker Services functions as a behind-the-scenes silent processor, keeping the broker up to date every step of the way. Users can track the progress of the loan through their Encompass systems, which provide status each step of the way and at any give time. Brokers maintain full control of the process, selecting the loan program and lender, and locking the loan at their discretion.

"Outsourced services just make sense," explains Jonathan Corr, Ellie Mae’s chief strategy officer. "Companies like Zenta which offer onshore/offshore services can provide the kind of cost-effective outsourcing options that many companies are looking for these days.
