National Coordinator for Health IT Hosting Session TODAY on Health Information Exchange

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is hosting a town hall-style webinar Thursday, February 14th at 3pm Eastern on governance of health information exchange (HIE).

National Coordinator for Health IT, Dr. Farzad Mostashari, and senior staff at ONC will present the open listening session. This town hall will provide an overview of ONC’s planned HIE governance activities along with an opportunity for participant stakeholders to provide input.

lnput will be used to inform ONC activities and assist in advancing governance goals of nationwide health information exchange: increase interoperability, decrease the cost and complexity of exchange, and increase trust among participants to mobilize trusted exchange to support patient care.
