Computer Credit Inc. has made its 55 employees the new owners of the collection agency by implementing an employee stock ownership plan.

The Winston-Salem, NC-based firm, which specializes in health care collections, was founded in 1972 and has grown through partnerships and new projects. In May of this year the company launched MD-COLLECT, a Web site that provides low-cost collection services to physicians through the Internet.
