Ontario Systems, a leading receivables management technology provider, congratulated the 17 healthcare organizations listed among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals 2012-13 today, including five customers using the company’s Artiva Healthcare solution in the top 10. The medical centers listed in the Best Hospitals Honor Roll make up less than 0.4 percent of nearly 5,000 organizations U.S. News evaluated for its 2012-13 rankings. Most are considered household names.

“It’s truly a privilege to work with the best and most progressive healthcare organizations in the country every day,” says Melissa Norcross, Ontario Systems VP Business Strategy. “Efficient, compassionate receivables management is an important step to fuel any mission devoted to patient care. It’s our job to support our customers, who improve or save hundreds of thousands of lives every year.”

This year’s Honor Roll was based on a system that granted points to any hospital ranking in America’s Top 20 across a number of objective categories, including survival rates, patient safety and more. The organizations listed for 2012-13 excelled across a broad spectrum of patient care, scoring at or near the top in at least six of those criteria.

“Successful healthcare companies require technology platforms that enable efficient financial clearance, insurance advocacy, and patient engagement,” says Ontario Systems CEO Ron Fauquher. “We’re pleased to honor and serve those clients with our products, and offer a sincere congratulations to the institutions listed in this year’s Honor Roll. Our company looks forward to helping all of our clients meet or exceed that same standard.”
