The Debt Marketplace, Inc., in conjunction with the Pacific Coast Banking School is conducting a survey to understand why some financial institutions sell accounts and others do not. The research seeks to understand why some creditors have never considered selling accounts and what factors went into the decision-making process to sell or not sell accounts. The survey will seek information on ordinary pre- and post-charge-off accounts and will not include specialty accounts, such as bankruptcy, deceased, and fraud.

Information gathered in this survey will be analyzed and compiled into a research paper that may be made publicly available. No participant or specific company information will be released. All specific participant information will remain confidential, and will not be shared with any third-party. Participating companies will receive a compilation of the results. The deadline for participation is March 5, 2006.

To participate, the survey can be downloaded at: http://www.debtmarketplace.com/survey.html.
