ROCKVILLE, Md. -- insideARM, the industry's first and most trusted provider of daily news, information, and guidance, hosted its third Women in Consumer & Commercial Finance conference virtually this year, between 8 December through 10 December. As part of the WCCF initiative, insideARM felt it was important to establish a Community Impact Initiative to align with our conference. Thanks to the generosity of our Lead Community Impact Partners, NCB Management Services, Inc. and ERC (Enhanced Resource Centers), as well as our Boosters, interactionsKatabat, and Phillips & Cohen Associates Ltd., insideARM and WCCF were able to make a sizeable donation to For the Good, Kenya and Washington Area Women's Foundation, here at home.

"One of the key things we can do, as women, and as a company interested in the personal and professional development of women across many industries," said Amy Perkins, President of insideARM and Conference Chair, "is make sure we raise all boats. We can develop our own skills, absolutely, and pay it forward to women everywhere who need help with those initial steps."

The event raised $10,000.

For the Good, based out of Colorado, works in areas that have been labeled as “not wanting education.” Their experience shows exactly the opposite. For the Good currently partners with Maasai communities to address barriers to access to affordable education, especially for girls. They use low-cost, high-return approaches and leverage community assets to enroll and keep children in school through secondary, with a focus on three key interventions.

The Washington Area Women's Foundation helps build pathways out of poverty for women and their families. Their mission is helping to create economic opportunities that have positive ripple effects across families, communities, and society.

"Both organizations powerfully live their missions," said Stephanie Eidelman, CEO of insideARM and The iA Institute. "We are so grateful for all women who participated in WCCF, the companies that sent them, and our industry partners. In a year like 2020, it is important to help wherever we can."
