Through this intense certification process, the Company’s technology platform and operational processes are tested and must adhere to strict industry standards, as verified by an independent auditor. This certification provides customers with the assurance that their data is properly managed and in compliance with the best practices in the industry.

A SAS 70 certification is the authoritative guidance that allows service organizations to disclose their control activities and processes to their customers and their customers’ auditors in a uniform reporting format.  The SAS 70 audit requires a thorough examination of the design of internal controls and business operations by an independent third party, comprised of Certified Public Accountants.

The issuance of the auditor’s report, prepared in accordance with SAS 70 guidelines, certifies that a service organization has had its control objectives and activities examined by an independent accounting and auditing firm.  The auditor’s report, which includes the service auditor’s opinion, is issued to the firm at the conclusion of the in-depth SAS 70 examination.
