ACA International’s first Virtual Convention will kick off next week, offering members the chance to attend educational sessions from their offices.

Taking place July 13-15, 2011, in conjunction with the live event, ACA’s Virtual Convention will provide attendees more than nine hours of educational programming at the low cost of just $295 for ACA members. Select sessions will be streamed live followed by live chats with speakers, available exclusively for virtual attendees.

“ACA’s annual convention offers important educational opportunities but not everyone can make the trip to Dallas to take part.  The virtual convention provides access for these members so they can still participate,” said ACA International President Martin Sher.

On-demand access will also be available for 90 days after the convention for the session recordings. Sessions that will be featured during the virtual convention include:

  • Making Our Case in Washington: Tackling the Most Pressing Issues (followed by live chat)
  • Ask the Attorney Panel (followed by live chat)
  • Opening General Session Awards & Keynote: The Five Best Business Decisions The Beatles Ever Made…and Why You Should Make Them Too!
  • State of the Debt Collection Industry: The Road Ahead (followed by live chat)
  • Attorneys General and the Industry (followed by live chat)
  • Compliance on a Budget (followed by live chat)
  • Regulators Abound: Working with the FTC and CFPB (followed by live chat)
  • The Economy at Mid-Year: Has the Recovery Picked Up Its Tempo? (followed by live chat)
  • 50 Ways to Reduce Consumer Claims (followed by live chat)

Virtual attendees can also visit the ACA Virtual Booth where they can learn about the latest products and resources designed to make their businesses more profitable.
