Dallas-based financial recovery specialist, Anderson, Crenshaw & Associates, LLC. is proud to announce that on June 1, 2009, it will act as a Corporate Sponsor in the 21st annual Del Frisco’s Golf Classic, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening disease that affects approximately 30,000 people in the United States, with statistics showing that one in 31 Americans are carriers of the disease. Those affected with CF suffer from a build-up of mucus that clogs the lungs and the pancreas, causing inflammation and infections that lead to lung damage. Furthermore, CF stops digestive enzymes from helping the body break down food that can cause poor nutrition and affect the growth of those with CF. The average life expectancy of those affected is 37 years.

Each year, the Del Frisco’s Golf Classic attracts more that 220 golfers from all over the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Metroplex and in 2008 raised more than $260,000. With the help of Anderson, Crenshaw & Associates, this year’s goal is to raise over $300,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Since 2007, Crenshaw has participated in the Del Frisco’s Golf Classic, as well as other fundraising events benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Through its partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as well as its other adopted charities, Crenshaw is continuing its policy of being a responsible member of its community.
