A former owner of a debt collection agency has been charged with giving financial records of thousands of people to a neo-Nazi gang that authorities allege engage in identity theft, according to an Associated Press story.

Robert Upson, owner of the defunct Recovery Specialists Inc. ? which did business under the name VeriCheck ? was indicted along with 10 other people, all described as members of a white supremacist group, the Wood Pile Gang. Upson?s VeriCheck is not related to the national VeriCheck.
