The Governor?s Office of Minority Affairs (OMA) and The Daily Record announced that Debra Gillespie, CEO of ACCESS Receivables Management located in Towson, Maryland, has been named one of Maryland?s Top 100 Minority Businesses for 2006. This program is designed to salute Maryland?s best minority and women business owners and to highlight their achievements.


ACCESS is a national receivables management company that specializes in providing first party receivables management and third party debt collection services to FORTUNE 500 companies, insurance carriers, colleges, universities and more. The company initiated business in November of 1999 with one employee and has grown to over fifty (50) employees in just six (6) years. In Maryland, the company services numerous prestigious clients including: Johns Hopkins University, Strayer University, The Maryland State Dental Association, Thomson Prometric, 180?s, Williams Scotsman and more.


A panel of distinguished judges chose Debra Gillespie as an entrepreneur who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in four key areas: business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations and community outreach.

Debra Gillespie will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Inn and Conference Center, at University of Maryland University College, in Adelphi, Maryland, on Friday, October 27.
