Debt collection agency West Asset Management (WAM) is adding 170 jobs at a call center in Omaha, Neb., according to the Omaha World-Herald.

WAM, a division of teleservices firm West Corp., said that it had won a new contract from a major automotive company and that it would be adding staff to help service the company’s loans.

WAM currently employs some 2,500 people in the U.S., Jamaica, and the Philippines. The company’s Omaha office is its second-largest.
