A collection agency in Idaho recently acquired the accounts of another Gem State shop that closed down.

Nampa, Idaho-based Collection Bureau, Inc. acquired the collection accounts of Accounts Management Collections, formerly based in nearby Boise. AMC was shuttered so that the owner could pursue other business interests.

According to Collection Bureau spokesperson Scott Marker, AMC enjoyed a sterling reputation in Idaho. “Their clients really loved them,” noted Marker.

Collection Bureau employs around 25 people and specializes in Idaho accounts in various industry verticals such as medical and government. The company is a full-service collection agency boasting an in-house legal department, something to be expected for a firm started by a lawyer, Mark Clark, in 1993.

Marker explained that having a narrow focus helps his company’s cause when going after business. “We like our Idaho-only niche and we focus on it,” he said.
