Lighthouse1, a leading provider of consumer driven healthcare (CDH) administration software solutions, announced today it has signed an agreement with First Data Healthcare Services, part of First Data Corp., a leading provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions. First Data will deliver a debit card and robust transaction processing services for subscribers using Lighthouse1′s healthcare programs.


First Data will provide healthcare card services, including a state-of-the-art transaction card processing solution that offers a convenient and secure vehicle for members to access their fund contributions at the point of care. UMB Healthcare Services, division of UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF – News) will work with First Data to support debit card access, investment programs and transaction processing.

Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ delivers automated management of employer benefits plans such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). The debit cards processed with First Data provide for industry leading auto-substantiation rates, including real-time pharmacy benefit management, co-pay and over-the-counter substantiation, saving healthcare administrative costs by reducing the need for paperwork.
