Denver police have identified a suspect in the murder of J.P. Kelso, the founder and president of a collection agency located in Denver. Kelso was found shot in his home late Monday.

Police said yesterday that they are searching for 25 year-old Timothy John Boham in connection with the slaying. They have issued a first-degree murder warrant for his arrest.

As of Thursday morning, Denver police have refused to release details about Boham?s prior connection with Kelso and are not giving out information about a possible motive. A detective with the police department told CollectionIndustry.com this morning that ?until we contact Mr. Boham, we will not release details about motive.? The Denver police, however, did tell the Denver Post yesterday that Boham may have fled Colorado and that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Kelso co-founded Denver collection agency Professional Recovery Systems in 1996.
