Intrum Justitia announced today that due to diverging views on the appropriate strategy for the UK & Ireland region, Regional Managing Director Chris Savage has resolved to resign with immediate effect.

”In consultation with Intrum Justitia’s CEO and President, Lars Wollung, I have decided that the best solution both for me and my employer is that I immediately resign all my positions in Intrum Justitia,” says Mr Savage.

“Although I have only worked with Mr Savage for a short period of time, I appreciate his contribution to the business and I wish him every success in his future ventures,” says CEO and President Lars Wollung.

Marcel van Es, Regional Managing Director for Intrum Justitia in the Netherlands and Belgium, will resume the responsibility as Acting Regional Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, a position he held from 2005 until the end of 2008 when Mr Savage was appointed.
