BYU students are going to start to see delinquent bills appearing on their credit reports.

BYU, tired of playing patient parent to students who aren’t showing any sense of fiscal responsibility, is hoping to create an environment where students become more accountable for their financial affairs.

There’s an upside, actually, to students who pay their bills on time.  The new policy will give students a deeper credit history and a greater incentive to pay in a timely manner to protect that history.
