Afni?s Debra Ciskey Named President of Illinois Collectors Association

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. –  Debra J. Ciskey, Director of Compliance at Afni, Inc., has been installed as President of the Illinois Collectors Association. ICA is a state unit of ACA International, The Association  of Credit and Collection Professionals.

As president of the 125-member state organization, Ciskey will drive association activities for the year. She has also been invited to conduct ACA’s Credit and Collection Compliance Officer seminar at ACA International’s convention and exposition in July in Washington, DC, and to present a breakout session at the convention, as well.

Ciskey joined Afni in 1993. During her tenure at Afni, she created and drove the training and development programs during Afni’s meteoric growth during the 1990’s.  She then transitioned to training, development and compliance responsibilities in the Afni Receivables Management organization in 2004.  

Ciskey has received the 1998 ACA Enterprises Award of Merit. In 2000, she was inducted into ACA’s International Fellowship of Certified Collection Executives. In 2004 and 2006, Ciskey was awarded the Fred Kirschner Instructor Achievement Award. She was the association’s Instructor of the Year in 2005.  In 2007, Collection Advisor Magazine named Ciskey one of the Top 50 Most Influential Collection Professionals.

Ciskey lives in Normal, Illinois, with her husband, Mark. She has two adult children, Dan and Amelia.
