Ottawa, Kansas:  National Recovery Service, a collection agency, is pleased to announce the creation of Collector’s for Change. This project is the brainchild of President and CEO, Brad Dekraai; a twenty year veteran in the collection industry. In a time when the collection industry is facing many new challenges because of the actions of a few illegal and unscrupulous agencies, NRS is striving to change the public perception of the industry as a whole.

This project allows all employees the opportunity to donate their loose change to benefit various charities.  NRS will then match the monthly total; dollar for dollar.  The charity of choice will be decided each month by a drawing. Every Month each collector will select their favorite charity and each month a drawing will be held to determine which charity will receive all of the funds.

Day after day, the NRS team communicates with individuals that are less fortunate or those that have fallen on hard times.  President and CEO, Brad DeKraai states; “It is our dedicated and considerate team that inspired ‘Collector’s For Change’ and we want to give them a fun way to donate what they can, when they can.”  Mr. Dekraai is a firm believer that miracles do not necessarily require divine intervention.  In most cases they just need a group of people to rally around a cause with a single minded purpose.  This is a small agency with a big heart.

NRS was built around the concept of teamwork. With that in mind, NRS invites other collection agencies across the country to join them in the “Collector’s For Change Project”.  There are two goals behind this project; to combine resources with other like minded agencies and to change the public perception of collection agencies.  NRS is striving to make a positive impact in the areas that matter most to the public at large; in both the local and national community.  Hopefully, other agencies will get on board and make a difference.
