ACA Members Elect 2006/07 Executive Committee

ACA International (ACA) members attending the Annual Meeting of the Membership on Tuesday, July 11 in San Diego elected the association’s volunteer leaders for 2006/07. Executive Committee members were subsequently sworn in at the President’s Banquet on July 12.

2006/07 ACA Executive Committee Members:

• President: Michael Shoop, CCAE, IFCCE; Greeley, Colo.
• President?Elect: Christopher G. Wunder; Timonium, Md.
• Vice President: Jay Gonsalves, Middleboro, Mass.
• Treasurer: Karolyn Rubin, Chicago.
• Past President: Mark Davitt, MCE; Fairport, N.Y.

Attendees at the Annual Meeting of the Membership also heard reports on association activities and recognized unit presidents, committee chairs and committee members. New treasurer Karolyn Rubin thanked her family, friends and campaign manager Nick DiGiovanni Jr., 1996/97 ACA president, Chicago Heights, Ill., for a successful campaign. Outgoing past president Harry Strausser III thanked the membership and fellow Executive Committee peers as he prepared to depart the committee after serving for the past five years. After the announcements, Mark Davitt handed the ACA gavel to Michael Shoop, who invited everyone to attend the afternoon education sessions and adjourned the meeting.
