Atlantic Credit & Finance announced today that it has selected Nations Recovery Center based in Atlanta, Ga., as its “2008 Agency of the Year” for their outstanding and consistent overall collection performance.

Kevin Hudson, Vice President of Business Development for Atlantic Credit & Finance (ACF), said that Nations Recovery Center garnered the company’s top agency honor from among its network of 25 contingency firms. Atlantic Credit & Finance recently sponsored a celebratory event at Nations Recovery Center to honor its 2008 Agency of the Year.

Established in 1996, Atlantic Credit & Finance is a leading purchaser and manager of unsecured, consumer-distressed assets, managing in excess of $8.0 billion. The company has been listed three times by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing, privately held corporations in the United States.

According to Hudson, the award winner was selected based on a variety of criteria, including its flexibility in handling a wide range of consumer receivables. He also noted that Nations Recovery Center demonstrated exceptional performance in “consistently meeting and in many cases exceeding our recovery goals and objectives.”

“Each partner agency makes a critical contribution to the success of our company,” Hudson explained. “Led by the outstanding work of Nations Recovery Center, our agency partners offer tremendous resources, knowledge and expertise to ensure we’re maximizing the value of each and every portfolio.”

Paul Bataillon, President of Nations Recovery Center, said that ACF’s ability to truly act as a partner plays a key role in his company’s ability to deliver consistently exceptional performance. “ACF provides us with honest, quality placements that are geared toward maximizing our strengths as an agency…we feel they do everything possible to help us achieve or exceed our objectives. Atlantic Credit & Finance is now our largest client and we look forward to continuing to grow our business with them going forward in a way that is mutually beneficial.”

Bataillon added that the experience of each of Nations Recovery Center’s nearly 200 collection specialists also is key to its success. “We require at least three years of experience from each collection associate and then we provide a very good training program to make sure they have all the tools they need to be successful.”

Hudson noted that although top agency honors were bestowed upon Nations Recovery Center, Atlantic Credit & Finance also recognized the runner-up Capital Management Services, based in Buffalo, New York for their outstanding performance.
