IAT, a leading provider of communications solutions for the collection industry and related markets, announced today that they have significantly enhanced their CT Impact Hosted Broadcast Messaging capabilities by the addition of new leading-edge text-to-speech technology, superior answering machine message lay-in and the ability to pay by check or credit card without agent intervention.

Text-to-speech is most often used to speak the name of the debtor in order to verify a right-party contact and permit delivery of a collection message. Correctly pronouncing names can be challenging, but CT Impact now has a much higher accuracy rate, and therefore fewer hang-ups. Once a right party contact has been verified, the CT Impact collection message can give the option to pay by check or credit card, select other payment options or transfer to a live agent. If the client chooses to leave messages on answering machines, CT Impact has the ability to determine exactly when the machine’s introduction has ended and begin/lay-in the recorded message with no overlay or loss of content.

“Our clients are pleased with the enhancements and the resulting increase in collections,” says Randy Cooper, Vice President of Development. “Their input encouraged us to focus on these features and make our hosted service even more attractive to both existing and new customers.”

“Even clients who have IAT’s site-premised CT Center Broadcast Messaging capability are using CT Impact to easily handle peak calling periods, end-of-month spikes, large new accounts, and aging accounts that otherwise might not be touched,” says Jeff Savage, National Sales Manager. “This pay-as-you-go option is also attractive for smaller companies that currently can’t afford their own system. Companies of all sizes will benefit by these enhancements.”

Whatever dialing solution you choose, Savage suggests selecting a provider that offers both options, so you can easily switch from hosted to site-premised when it becomes more cost-effective, or you can rely on a hosted service for extra dialing capacity without paying for additional hardware.
