TouchStar Software today announces the completion of the acquisition of Sigmaworx, Inc., a fellow provider of contact center solutions. The acquisition of Sigmaworx, Inc. was completed in late December and contributed significant growth in market share for TouchStar.

Sigmaworx, formerly known as ETS, is one of the first companies to develop and utilize advanced predictive dialer technology. Sigmaworx is based out of Davenport, Iowa, and has provided call center systems for worldwide call centers since 1983. With over 20 years of experience in the telephony business, Sigmaworx is a well known company with a network of over 2,000 customers.

Through the Sigmaworx acquisition, TouchStar has gained 14 new employees. Sigmaworx will continue to operate out of Davenport, Iowa. The new TouchStar division will operate as Sigmaworx, a TouchStar Software company. Tonya Montague has been appointed as the Business Unit Manager for the Sigmaworx division. Tonya has been with TouchStar since June of 2004. David Steil, the former CEO of Sigmaworx, is now the Financial Director for TouchStar Software.
