DIVDAT, Inc., a Ferndale, Mich.-based provider of CashLINC™; a comprehensive receivables management system comprised of printing & mailing, electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), online document archiving and retrieval, integrated voice response (IVR), broadcast fax, e-mail, text messaging (SMS), voice mail communications, and additional Preferential Communication™ services, has announced a revolutionary means of providing major cost reductions to the print and mail industry.  DIVDAT President Jason Bierkle made the announcement.

DIVDAT’s electronic document delivery service called “eDOCUMENT solution” allows a client (collector) to send electronic letters and communications to their debtors with PDF documents attached or HTML text embedded into the body of the text. More information about this service can be found on the DIVDAT website www.divdat.com/eDocument.

“What’s great about this service”, remarks, Bierkle “is its ease of use and flexibility. The client can opt to send their letters via email with the same variable data that would be programmed into their print and mail application”. In addition, DIVDAT can build in reporting tools for “returned mail” to handle bounce back messages much like it does with the handling of physical mail in its Return Mail ManagementTM solution for traditional print and mail.

DIVDAT’s Vice President of Business Development, David McKenna notes that clients are already lining up to take advantage of this service. “The math is pretty easy to do. If you’re mailing a letter you’ve got the 3 P’s to consider – processing, paper and postage. With our eDOCUMENT solution, you eliminate two of the three and those two are the heavy weights – paper and postage. We are likely the only print and mail vendor out there who wants to help you stop printing and mailing”. Bierkle adds, “this tool is a perfect fit for DIVDAT. For years we’ve had the technology to support emailing as we do with our electronic bill presentment and payment solution; whereby we notify a recipient of an invoice available to view, print and pay; now we’ve modified the solution to accommodate the credit and collections world”.

DIVDAT’s eDOCUMENT solution is just one component of the CashLINC system, a proprietary data integration, notification and response channel that serves as a complete receivables management.
