Akcelerant, a provider of connected software technology to the financial services industry, announced today a new business partnership with GRANT & WEBER, an account servicing and receivables management organization specializing in credit union collection services.  As part of the agreement, new integration will be developed to allow joint customers convenient access to GRANT & WEBER’S services, including pre-charge off account management, charge-off collection, risk and retention monitoring services directly through the Akcelerant Framework or Akcelerant Elements. In addition, GRANT & WEBER will begin using the Akcelerant Framework to manage accounts within its own organization.

“GRANT & WEBER’S 35 years of experience in serving the financial industry makes them a solid addition to the Akcelerant family.  Our new partnership and integration with GRANT & WEBER supports Akcelerant’s ongoing strategy to bring software and services together under one platform,” comments Eric Snyder, executive vice president of business development at Akcelerant.

The unparalleled connectivity of Akcelerant’s product lines allows third-parties, like GRANT & WEBER, to tightly integrate their existing products and services, creating an “all-in-one” software strategy.  Akcelerant customers will soon be able to easily send and receive outsourced account information to/from GRANT & WEBER without having to leave the Framework or Elements. In addition, the implementation of the Framework at GRANT & WEBER will allow the company to work accounts as an extension of the credit union.

“GRANT & WEBER shares Akcelerant’s vision to simplify connectivity for our credit union and financial services partners, making communication more effective and our services produce better results. We look forward to the benefits of this partnership to connect GRANT & WEBER to our clients,” comments Trevor Simms, vice president of business development at GRANT & WEBER.

Credit Union attorney Brad Pizer, of Pizer & Associates, stated that he is working with both companies to ensure the marriage between GRANT & WEBER’s nationwide account services and Akcelerant’s cutting-edge software platform significantly benefits the industry.  “I’ve represented credit unions for over twenty years as legal counsel and truly believe in the connector partnership, which will greatly streamline many of the services we provide to our customers today.”

Akcelerant, with offices in Malvern, Pennsylvania and Vancouver, British Columbia, provides connected software applications to the financial services industry through multiple product lines and integration to best-of-breed service providers. Over 500 financial institutions in all 50 states and all provinces of Canada are currently using Akcelerant technology.
