Fairfax, Va.-based CR Software LLC (CRS), the leading financial software solutions provider to collections entities, announces today its enhanced web service offerings within Titanium ORE, CR Software’s best-in-class, next generation flagship product.

The Titanium Open Receivables Environment (ORE) is a feature-rich, enterprise debt recovery solution, built from the ground up to provide operational, analytical and collaborative functionality. Titanium ORE is built on an open standards-based framework that serves as the core of collections and case management activity, maximizing interoperability and providing the ability to adapt business rules and processes associated with managing receivables.

CR Software has recognized the need for a collection system to work in concert with other enterprise systems in a heterogeneous environment.  Therefore, they have expanded the Titanium ORE library of SOAP web services as of its 2.4 version so that other enterprise systems may take advantage of its functionality in a platform independent manner and in real-time.  These web services also take advantage of Titanium’s unsurpassed security, as all data that is passed from system to system is encrypted in transit and can be locked down to only allow access to those systems and users permitted to use specific resources.

“Titanium’s open architecture breaks all of the boundaries that have plagued the collections software industry for years, giving our customers the ability to grow and change without being locked into a particular vendor or platform,” says Ed Wallen, CIO of CR Software.  “I see many of the collections software providers in the market today as if they were automobile manufacturers that welded the hoods shut on customers’ cars.  Following this analogy, you would not be able to use a different kind of air filter or even change your own oil, just as many software vendors force their customers to come to them for professional services to get something done.  On the other hand, Titanium is designed to be open and transparent so that our customers can have complete access to the wide array of data, services, and workflow in a standard fashion.  We do not dictate which integrated predictive dialers, document management systems, or electronic payment gateways a customer must use.  Our customers choose which components best suit their needs, as Titanium provides the flexibility to seamlessly integrate them.”

As with all of their releases, Titanium ORE 2.4 has gone through CR Software’s stringent Quality Assurance processes, including extensive performance testing (simulating thousands of concurrent users on the system) to ensure that users have no impact to their daily business.
