Account Control Technology, Inc. (ACT) proudly announces the addition of Scott DeWitt to ACT’s Operations Team. As Senior Division Manager, DeWitt leverages nearly 25 years of portfolio management, collections, and call center operations experience. ACT will call upon his vast experience to lead ACT’s production teams and increase revenue for the campus-based, guarantor, and private lender clients at ACT’s California office. DeWitt also provides oversight and high-level management for the U.S Department of Education contract.

DeWitt is a valuable strategic thinker and innovator with expertise in process improvements, operational leadership, creative problem solving, and “hands-on” decision-making. With regard to his new role as ACT’s Senior Division Manager, DeWitt had this to say: “Joining an organization with so many dynamic employees that want nothing but to please clients with excellent customer service and high recoveries is very exciting and refreshing. Prior to joining ACT, DeWitt spent 13 years with Sallie Mae Corporation and its subsidiaries General Revenue Corporation, Educational Debt Services Inc. and USA Group, where he advanced through several high-level operational management positions. Most recently, DeWitt filled the role of Director of Operations where he successfully led a 200+ operations team for Sallie Mae’s private credit collections division in Las Vegas, Nevada.
