GB Collects' Marketing Coordinator Joins the March of Dimes Committee

GB Collects‘ Marketing Coordinator, Janine Papasso, supports healthy babies by joining the Burlington and Camden County March of Dimes Committee. Papasso plans to utilize her public relations, marketing and advertising skills to increase awareness of the major health charity and promote the upcoming March For Babies walk scheduled for April 2012 in Voorhees, N.J.

The March of Dimes prevents birth defects, premature births and infant mortality. Half a million babies are born prematurely each year in the U.S. and 40 percent of the cases are unknown. In addition, each year more than 12,000 babies are born with a birth defect, the leading cause of infant death. The March of Dimes funds research to increase the chances of babies surviving and living a healthy life.

GB Collects encourages its staff members to get involved in the community. This year, GB Collects celebrates its 10th year anniversary as a commercial collection agency. In the past, GB Collects supported the Red Cross, Covenant House, The Leukemia Society, Women’s Opportunity Center and the March of Dimes. The company will hold fundraising events to raise money for the March of Dimes and will prepare a team to walk at the March for Babies event in April.

Janine encourages the community to show their support for babies and join the Burlington and Camden County March For Babies Facebook group as well as register for the March For Babies walk taking place in Voorhees N.J. on April 29, 2012. The March of Dimes also seeks sponsors who would like to enhance their company’s visibility with an audience of over 2,000 walkers plus observers, pedestrians and drivers along the 4-mile route while supporting a respected cause.
